Final Report - Patent
The final report will be a group grade (starting in 2025).
You will create a patent based on your project. I am fine with you using generative AI to help, but my experience is that it spits out a lot of gibberish when trying to write patents. You will have to be smart about it and proofread, proofread, proofread.
Be sure to include an abstract, summary, figures, detailed description, and the claims. The claims are the most important part of the patent. They are the only thing that the patent protects. Everything else, referred to as the specification, supports the claims.
