Previous Assignment: Bioinspired Robot Part 1

Bioinspired Robot Part 2

Next Assignment: Biosinspired Robot Part 3

Bioinspired Robot Part 2

  1. Step 5a: Prototype. Develop a set of complete engineering drawings for all parts that you manufacture, assembly drawing, and a bill of materials.
  2. Step 3 (Again): Analysis. Create a Dynamic Simulation of the device in Autodesk Inventor. Verify that your design will work

Grading

Individual Assignment, 6pts
  • Set of engineering drawings
  • Video of dynamic simulation (show to Prof. Spenko or upload to blackboard)

Educational Goals

  1. understand the bio-inspired design process
  2. Become proficient at CAD
  3. Introduce yourself to dynamic simulations
